President & FounderJessica Rosario currently serves as President and Founder of Blossom of Central Florida, Inc. She resides in Orlando, FL where she relocated from New York in 2015 with her two teenage girls, now ages 13 & 16. Jessica’s devotion to motherhood and commitment to community outreach has developed a passion for mentoring which has led her to developing this program. Jessica is passionate about public service and has taken on leadership roles on several business levels to ensure she brings awareness and resources to her community.
DirectorYthamarie Rosario is the Creative Director for Blossom of Central Florida, Inc. She handles anything related to graphic design and manages our social media to ensure our content adds value to our audience and keep our followers engaged. She schedules social media posts and she keeps up with current trends in the community to ensure we are providing services that are relevant to the teens in our program. Ythamarie is currently 20 years old and has become an instrumental part of the organization. She is proud to serve as a role model to the girls in our program.
DirectorOriel Ross McKinney is a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur. Her experience includes a successful 20-year corporate tenure in Finance, Client Relations & Development, and Non-Profit Management and 10 years in entrepreneurship. Oriel’s passions further extend to the community by creating positive movement in business, education, and mentorship. She’s held leadership positions with the Central Florida Urban League Young Professionals, the YMCA Tangelo Park, the National Society of Black Engineers, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and is Orange County’s 2012 Ms. Corporate America. Oriel is a dedicated wife and mother of two.
DirectorYolanda Castro resides in Kissimmee, FL. She currently serves as member of the Board of Directors for BLOSSOM of Central Florida, Inc. Yolanda has been married over 35 years, she is mother to four children and grandmother to ten grandchildren ages 2-19. In 2016, Yolanda received the devastating news when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through an experience that she wishes no one ever had to go through. After intensive treatment, amazing doctors and holding on to her faith, she was declared a cancer survivor within the same year. Yolanda thanks and praises the Lord every day for giving her the strength to overcome this life changing event. She is an active member in her community church at Nazaret Casa De Dios. Yolanda’s mission is to share her knowledge and skills with young ladies so that if her experience helps even one single person in the world, that would be a major accomplishment in her book of life.
DirectorDiane Johnson is a respected manager in the financial industry for over 20 years. She is a devoted wife, mother and sister. Diane is actively involved in the community and is a board member of the Elmont Kiwanis Club, the Elmont Franklin Square Rotary Club and the Elmont Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for BLOSSOM of Central Florida, Inc. Diane is passionate about BLOSSOM as she personally struggled as a teen with the topics that we address. She understands the importance of empowering and teaching young women how to overcome life’s challenges and teach them how to persevere to prevent them from carrying them over into their adult life, ultimately affecting their decisions. Diane is thrilled to be sharing her experiences and is fulfilled to know that she’s making a difference in someone’s life.
DirectorKathy Carrasquillo lives in Kissimmee , FL. She is a wife and a mother of two kids aging 20 and 17 years old. I studied nursing in Puerto Rico but now I am a dedicated teacher at a Daycare. I love being around kids especially when they learn something someone has not taught them like colors, letters, animals etc..I am very excited to be apart of Blossom of Central Florida and can’t wait for what the girls will learn and what I will learn from them.
